Real Time: Monday, 28th January 2019.
I am thoroughly enjoying these last few days before going back to work. It’s been awesome just chilling, thinking and reflecting, reading, writing, praying, going to church, waking up early (I used to wake up late on purpose just to make up for days that I had to wake up early for work), been working out and eating healthy, AND still not on any social media platform. I don’t know what’s going on, what memes are trending and everything else we worship, praise and follow every day on social media.
Of course, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with social media, it’s incredible and I love it! But a whole lot of us go on about it the wrong way, we dream, eat, shit and breathe it. Use it, do not let it use you and, this is exactly what I plan to do in the future as I am busy cooking up a personal website that I am extremely excited about.
Just being in my own world has really been revitalizing. Solitary grants you the time and the opportunity to think. Block some time off to THINK.
Be prudent AF but be smart about it as this may result in limitations and fearing to take risks. Your thoughts shouldn’t control you, you should have complete control of your thoughts.
Seek to be enlightened, seek to be able to think on your own and make the final decision on your own because the decision best suit your goals and nobody else’s, get to know yourself, ask radical questions. KEEP SEEKING.
It’s quickly heading for a month since I’ve been “social media free” and still going.
I have also been changing my mind about a lot of things and unfollowing a lot of things because I am in my own zone, I am not influenced by other people’s opinions, I am not following anything or anyone without having to process a sincere thought.
Self leadership. Lead your own life, it is blissful.
