Just on a lighter note to what I usually write about, thought that I would go back again to bring life to another one of my old writings.
This specific piece was written 4 years ago. I used to focus specifically on women. Now I am for everybody. I always mention how I am not a feminist anymore after an extreme and well thought out reassessment, well, this is a story for another day 🙂

Hmmm…LADIES, how important is this, this what you see on the images?
How important is holding hands in a relationship? How does it make you feel, does it fulfil something, a need maybe? Definitely.

Holding hands is human nature and it is pleasing, it provides comfort, it is a sign of protection from a loved one, makes one feel good and loved and you turn to love them even more.
This plays a huge role in any relationship. Women LOVE to be touched. I was so happy the other day opening up to my Mother on how sometimes I feel the need to be touched, she gave me the most honest answer as a woman and said ”I understand” .. never did I think that I will be able to share such intimate conversations with my Mother, but I am a woman and not a little girl anymore and, my Mother understands… that to me is everything.
Holding hands is good PDA, it happens naturally, without having to think about it. Do not deprive yourselves of good God-given things. Find someone that will hold your hand and kiss you on all parts of your faceÂ
A touch puts me at ease, may it be from a lover, a friend, a sibling or a parent.
I love being touched, every woman does.
I asked a couple of my close friends what Affection is to them and why is it so Important in a Relationship.
“I think we all define it differently, according to our needs. To me, it’s important because it shows that my partner cares for me and I’m an important part in their life.” Keneilwe Jere
”To me, Affection is a constant reminder of how much he cares for me. It’s a symbol of LOVE and emotional connection. I could say it’s like him saying to me “I care and I love you” without verbally saying it.” Lerato Tsunke

2 Jul 2019This is very true. To me a touch from a loved one means love, communicating with no words and affection.
