I took these pictures 4 years ago in front of a very old and abandoned house situated down town Johannesburg.
When I took the pictures I didn’t expect them to come out looking this superb. My photographer clearly knew what he was doing and I mean he went to school for this.
Upon receiving and seeing the images, what I got and took from this was how one can turn a rusty situation into something beautiful.
Give life a pinch of appreciation by moving and acting.
Don’t and quit being life’s slave. Nobody really cares but you should care, love and value yourself to know and believe that at any given time, you can and have the ability to turn things around, to turn those rusty and discoloured moments into pristine and colourful moments.
Learn the art of reevaluating, reshaping, reconstructing, redecorating and recreating life, how ever you want it to look like. Most people don’t trust and believe that this is possible, I’m here to confirm that it is possible, just try it, do it.
Give yourself a chance, and another chance, right through and right until… This is not easy, it’s actually pretty intense, but hey, nobody said that it would be.
Just please don’t quit on yourself. Cry if you have to, wipe those tears, get up and do it all over again, remember, you’re doing it for nobody but yourself.
“Everything we do we choose, so what is there to regret? You are the person you chose to be” – Paul Arden
“You can’t afford the house of your dreams, that’s why it is the house of your dreams. So either find a way of getting it (you’ll find the means), or be satisfied with dissatisfaction” – A Charlie
