Real Time: Sunday, 7th July 2019.

Quiting is so easy and nice, one of the easiest things in the universe, an overflow of excuses. But so is flourishing exceptionally well, it feels so good but the “problem” with this one option is that you have to work and people don’t like working.

They say do something that you love and passionate about and you’ll never work a day in your life.

These quotes will get some of you who don’t use common sense more often confused. Don’t be fooled, you still need to work, you still need to put in the hours, you’ll still feel and experience the pain, sincere pain and struggle. I really don’t like sugar coating and making people feel comfortable.

The word “apply” is so important. It means knuckle down, it means to commit. What are you committed to? Don’t tell me you’re committed to your 9 to 5, don’t tell me you’re committed to raising your children… you have to.

But have you tried committing to something that you don’t have to and you know once you commit what could or will happen? I mean you really don’t have to but you just CHOOSE to.

Imagine committing to making your dreams of becoming the greatest Chef, the greatest Musician, the greatest Tennis Player, the greatest Film Producer, the greatest Fashion Designer, the greatest Writer, the greatest Personal Development Coach… some of us can only imagine and look from a far but deep down inside we know that this is possible, we’re just lazy, we feel sorry for ourselves, we think the world owes us something, we feel entitled to shit that we don’t want to work hard for or we’re afraid and then my favorite… we create a mountain of endless unrealistic, dumb, shocking, embarrassing excuses.

We see these exceptional human bei… actually no1 is “exceptional”, you choose whether you want to do exceptionally great or not and then, that is when the world will perceive you as this “exceptional special”  being, the chosen one.

You choose who you want to be, this is so important, I repeat, you choose who you want to be. True story.

Unfortunately, what I just mentioned is one of those that… either you get it or you don’t, either you stop feeling sorry for yourself or you’ll watch others flourish and call them the lucky ones or the chosen. Guess what, they chose themselves, they choose/chose who they will be in this life.

Unchain yourself from the traumas, the unfortunate incidents and ordeals that took place in your life, don’t allow them to hold you back, don’t give them power.

I know a lot of us go back and lean on how we didn’t have a great upbringing, how we lost a parent, poor background, well YOU are still alive and you’ll need to find a way on how to getting whatever that you have dreamed of and whatever you still dream of, make that dream a reality, it’s all on you, you alone.

The universe doesn’t give a damn about what has happened to you years ago, you cannot hold it accountable, hey you can’t even hold God accountable for your life. You’ll need to go out there and knuckle down!

I want to share just a snippet from a book called “The Choice Is Yours” by John C Maxwell:

“We often think of courage as a quality required only in times of great danger or stress. But courage is an EVERYDAY virtue, needed to live a life without REGRETS.

Why do we need courage?

°We need courage to seek the truth when we know it may be painful.
°We need courage to change when it’s easier to remain comfortable.
°We need courage to express our convictions when others challenge us.
°We need courage to overcome obstacles when progress will come no other way.
°We need courage to learn and grow when it will display our weakness
°We need courage to take the high road when others treat us bad.
°We need courage to lead when being in front makes it a target.”

Now meditate on that.

It’s Monday, a new week.. do great, change your mentally, change your silly and frivolous habits, quit being impractical and impossible.
